About

I’m Byron and I built my first model back in 1967. The kit was the famous Cyclops throwing rocks scene from “Lost In Space” which was manufactured by Aurora Models. That started a lifelong hobby of building models. My collection is comprised mostly of spaceships and vehicles from sci-fi TV shows and movies.

Over the years I have built a variety of mass-produced models as well as small-run garage kits. But there were certain subjects that were either never produced at all or produced in poor quality. Scratch building parts was never in my wheelhouse of talents, so, like most modelers, I had to be satisfied with what kits were being manufactured.

Along came 3D printers. I have been using 3D printers since 2017, but they were modest units that satisfied my needs at the time. I recently upgraded to a Bambu Labs H2D printer and I was ready to jump into doing some serious printing.

I purchase files (called STLs) from a variety of sources to print. I do not do any custom modeling, so everything I offer has been created by an experienced 3D modeler and I’m licensed to sell the kits I produce from those sources. Below are examples of my table set up at a comic convention held lost Halloween. I try to offer prints that will entertain children as well as items for the adult collector.
